From FLVS: This course takes students on an inspiring “Superhero” journey where they develop confidence, build pride in their culture, achieve their goals, and help their peers succeed. Students learn how to take action to improve their own lives, manage their time, and resolve conflict by considering differences in personality. Along the way, students are coached by Mawi Asgedom, a former ELL (English Language Learner) student who earned a scholarship to Harvard and is now a student leadership expert who has trained over 1,000,000 students. 

From FLVS: In this course, you’ll learn the leadership skills needed to be successful in all areas of your personal, academic, and professional life. You’ll learn the skills to approach problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and goal setting to manage the challenges of day-to-day life, challenging courses, and responsibilities at work more effectively. You’ll also explore the skills needed for approaching public speaking, relationships, organizational management, and team building to better prepare you for whatever professional role you choose in the future. This course prepares students to be leaders in whatever future path they choose for themselves.
